Hi Everyone,

I am starting this thread to keep a tab on MI-1 applicants' e-cas status, so that we can have an idea if the visa offices have started working on MI-1 files or not. The data is available in the forum, but its too scattered. Lets dedicate this thread only for e-cas updates after MR/PPR are done.

I expect people who have got MR in June to be the first to report it here, followed by people in November and December.

All VOs are invited to update their e-cas status.

Thank you.

Looks like the first one from MI-1 to get visa.

Hi there !

Indeed its a nice thread/topic as I am also one of those who sent PPs on 26th Dec 2012, received 27th Dec 2012 and since that no news !!! Almost 12 times a day I am checking my ECASE but its as usual which shows status "in process" and nothing new even no news about medical received line is not updated !

I request to all friends to share time line and experience of being MI1 applicant and lets try to reduce our frustration and spread knowledge for others !!!

Keep preying ....

@arkopb,
U have done a very nice spadework by posting information wrt status of FSW applications elsewhere in the forum. I appreciate ur effort.
But, I am of the view that ECAS does not always suggest the exact status of applicant's file. Sometime,it is not updated even when the applicant is issued visa or action taken by the designated VO.My ecas status has not undergone any change for the last ten months,whereas the same, as per the CAIPS notes recvd. in the recent past, substantiates the aforesaid fact.
Nevertheless,thread may help consolidation of scattered data lying in the forum.U deserve kudos for ur effort.
Good luck nd May God bless all !!

Hi parhar51

Thank you for such warm words. I agree with u that the e-cas is not reflective of the real status, but looking at the trend in LVO and NDVO for MI-2 and 3 applicants, I have a feeling that nowadays ther are updating it on a regular basis. Hence, better to keep a tab on it, lest we miss some crucial info.

Thanx.
