Hello,

I want to withdraw from my application, as i have received first approval from nova scotia. Can anybody tell me the exact procedure that where should i send my e-mail?
My visa office is Islamabad(now changed from Isl to London).

Seniors please suggest.

I do not know if the VISA Offices have different procedures but I also had an experience in withdrawing an exisisting application.

I wrote a letter expressing my intent to withdraw my application for PR under File#***** and requested for a refund. I wrote my reasons.

When they replied, they instructed me to wait for six months to receive my refund. I received the refund in 4months.

Another thing, you may specify in your request the currency at which you want your refund to be paid. In my case, I did not. I received my refund in the currency at which I paid for.

Another additional information, they also told me that we may not have two existing applications. I really had to close my then existing file so thay my application in NS will be eligible for processing.

Again, we have different visa offices so procedures and policies may differ. Good luck!

thanks dear,
As you told
"I wrote a letter expressing my intent to withdraw my application for PR under File#***** and requested for a refund. I wrote my reasons."

Could you please tell me where you sent your letter? at your embassy address or at Nova scotia address?

Please confirm.

I forgot to say that I made my request by writing them a letter, not via e-mail.

No dear! my question is different.
I want to ask that should i send my letter to my visa office or at Nova Scotia address?
