ok, so I have like millions of logs of me and my wife, since 2008... now am I suppose to print them all out and translate them? I can't imagine me doing this! there are many many many conversations I tell ya! Also some of the convos are not nice convos, we have also had fights in our relationship like anyone else would! So if u guys can help me out with this, would greatly appriciate it!

i am also doing an outland spousal and i also have so many chat records but unfortunatly not like yours we speak english so the only thing you can do is choose the best ones lets say chat logs for 3 to 4 days a week and not everything specially fights and send them after translation its hard but unfortunatly you have to do it and you can give it to a translator so it is certified .
the best option is to gradually increase the chat logs number dates starting from 2008 up untill 2010 . becasue for them its more important that you are still communicating frequently

You do not need to print out and send all of your messages. Choose a selection that spans your whole relationship. Some people pick one a week or one a month; others choose important ones, ones that show you talking about something significant in your lives. Get a sample, then include a note saying that you have many more and can send more if the visa officer wants (most likely they won't ask for them), and include a log of your messages if you can - that is, the list of the messages showing the date and time sent, without the message body, so they can see how often you communicate.
For official documents like a marriage certificate, you should get them translated by a certified translator. But for things like emails and instant messages, which are not official documents, just extra proof of your relationship, you don't have to use a certified translator. You can translate them yourself or get a friend to do it. (This is just to save money, and is almost always accepted.) Be sure to include a signed declaration from the translator stating the language translated and swearing that it is a true translation of the original. This is just to make it look more 'official'.
