Mentions of a 'BARCODE' page

My boyfriend and I are organizing our application and we're seeing something called a Barcode page. Where it shows about 8 barcodes on one page.
Anyone know what this is about?

Two things...of equal importance.

1. He is NOT your boyfriend. He is your Common-Law partner, right?!

2. Yes. There are a couple of forms that are to be validated. Once they are validated, the bar code pages will be generated when you print those forms.

CIC has so capture (scan/digitize) all of the information from the forms electronically. Having the bar code pages make this instantaneous and prevents mistakes on their end, due to human error.


Once you have validated the form(s) do not make any changes to those forms...obviously. If you do, you'll need to validate it/them again.

Okay. so how do we do validation? Now I'm freaking out cause I'm behind. How do we get out forms into barcode form? and how're they validated.

the validate button is dark blue with the word "Validate" on it. Not all pages have it, only few. Press it after you filled out all the information in the form to generate the bar codes.

Where is this? I'm not seeing it. I see "Barcode label" and a place for it.
do some of these need to be filled out in a certain program?
