Hello everyone,

I’m in quite in a bind and need help.

I’ve met all other requirements except the 1 year full time work - 1560 hours requirement.

I’m on a 1 year work permit which expires on Nov 1, 2018

I’ve had a pretty rough time with landing a full time job...and I’ve generally made some questionable decisions trying to meet requirements within the 1 year timeframe (I’m literally walking dead from the stress).

Anyways, I’ve had 3 jobs and based on pay stubs and ROEs (don’t have the one for job 3 yet) I have +\- 1530 hours. I was recently working through a temp agency and now I recently lost my job (I feel I was let go of unfairly but I don’t have time to deal with that for now). I’m only left with 3 weeks on my visa and I’m afraid I won’t make it. Any suggestions on how i can quickly get the remaining hours?

I’ve had 2 interviews, no news yet and even if I do, it will take a while before I start working, meet the hours and get proof of hours. I’m still aggressively searching though.

I am looking into taking CELPIP again. Last 2 tests missed CLB 9 because of my writing. Last test scored R 10, L 9, S 12, W 8...other test also scored 8 - took a few lessons to improve but no luck. I’m already in the pool with 421 points but even if I get CLB 9 Federal Skilled requirements are steeper. I’m preparing to retake the test although to be honest, if it can be avoided I’d rather not.

I’ve gathered most documentation to apply should I be invited except police certificate, medicals and bank statements for Fed Skilled. Working on those.

Having said that I’d rather I just get the remaining hours through CEC. I’d really appreciate suggestions on how to meet my hours. Sorry for the long thread.
