Morning,

My husband and I applied in (I'm sponsoring my husband). We received AIP November 2013, meds were done Jan 23rd 2014, OWP received Feb 14th 2014. Its not March 25th and I still don't see "medical received" on ECAS....We've checked with the doctors office where the meds were done and they confirmed that they results were sent off to CIC, but does it really take this long for them to get the results and update ECAS? Is this something to worry about in being maybe they've lost the results?

I was told by cic agent that it normally takes 4 to 8 weeks to update the ecas... not sure why that long but that's what I was told... y don't you call the CIC and ask:-)

Almost close to getting done congrats :-).

God bless

Don't worry about this> My Ecas hasn't change for almost 3 years already...

What I did, I phoned the cic Call centre and asked to check if my medical result has been received... and yes it was there! :)

Don't rely on Ecas too much because it depends on the hands of the Vo or the office personnel if they will update your ecas. And one way to know something about your file is to order GMCS notes... that's a reliable one..

Thanks. We did call, twice. The first agent said that it normally takes 20 days to update and the second agent said it doesn't always update on ECAS, it may never reflect that they were received....I really don't trust the agents all the much either as I always get conflicting answers.

But thanks, 6-8 weeks seems logically, but this Thursday will be week 9 since getting the meds done.....hmmm ???

We are in the same boat. I am the sponsor and sponsoring my fiance. He got his medical done on or about October 4, 2013. (upfront) So far, there is no update as to medical exam on Ecas. I was told by a CIC agent, they received the results at the end of October and don't even know when the Ecas will be updated for only medical. I just gave up to keep tracking that. As long as the agent said they have the result, I would like to believe that will be fine.
