I attended the interview on 28th Nov 2011 in NewYork. Officer who took the interview said that we cleared the interview and we are supposed to send some documents and Right of Permanent Residence Fee. And can proceed for medicals. In Dec 2011 we paid the fees and sent the documents along with the medicals. After two months we got a mail stating that in order to proceed further with our application, we need to send updated police clearance certificate from FBI for myself and my spouse. We mailed back saying that we already sent the originals. But again they said that, to move further they need them. With great difficulty ( as we are in India) we got the FBI police clearance certificates from US and we sent them. We are still waiting for the response. As we did our medicals in Dec 2011, what is the validity of the medical exam ? And if we dont receive any response from them within one year of medicals, do we need to take the test again?? If we get the response do we need to travel before our medicals expire??? We are in confusion whether we got the PR or notHuh After attending the interview why they need the PCC's again? Any replies in this regard will help us.
