Medicals results has been delivered this morning to Port Spain .Thanks good I'm done.Does anybody knows how long it would take to have an answer?

Depends on VO, normally 4-8 weeks, you need to give min 2-3 weeks for RNH doctors to review your med results and upload it into system. Then give 1+ week for results to uploaded in to system. After all this, every thing is on visa office, normally 4-8 weeks min. Can be longer than 8 weeks as well.

Hi zulkal,

In relation to the initial question if I may ask, how do we know if the visa office has received the med results completely? Do they notify the applicant thru email or by updating the status in ECAS? Is there any acknowledgement letter/email or similar stuff like when the VO received the app package from CIC (e.g. RBVO)?

I'm just concerned because according to my DMP they have already submitted our medical results about 2-weeks ago, but if I check my ECAS the status until now is still "in-process".

Thank you for taking time to this query.

I received PPR and landed before Buffalo-VO added the line "Medical Results have been received". VOes normally don't update on MR receipt, the confirmation is PPR but you can try this
1) you can ask your DMP for tracking number for the parcel containing the medical results.
2) Wait for couple of weeks send a direct inquiry to VO
3) VO might add the line "Medical Results Have Been Received (option with lowest probability)

Thanks zulkfal! :) Think i'll just wait for a couple of weeks more and then i'll inquire VO about it. My 60 days will lapse on Sept. 15 since I received the MR on July 15. It's better to get an assurance before the lapse date to avoid complication.

Appreciated your help!

Thanks OMM! Will wait for a couple of weeks more before I inquire VO whether they already have the results. My worry is the 60 days prescribed period to complete the med test process. Without the results when the 60 days has lapsed the VO may decide by default that we are not interested.
