Hello everyone,

I have few questions. I will be grateful if you can reply those.

1. Medicals are required for Student Visa ? If so how much time it will take to get results.

2. PCC is also required ?

3. My classes are starting from 6 Sep. Earlier I was not sure to go. But I have made my mind. Will I be able to get visa before 6 Sep.

4. Do I need to hire a consultant or can do at my own.

I will be applying through New Delhi.

Pls share your views

Hi,

It's too late man. But if you wanna give a try first do your medicals. It's mandatory.

For medical checkup, check in cic website and make a booking and do medicals ASAP.

PCC is not required.

Hiring a consultant is good for you. Because if you miss a document you don't have other chance. But you can do on your own.

Before 6 it's luck. Delhi VFS is fast so u may get.

Good luck with your visa.

I was asked for Police Certificate during the process even it was not mandatory. If you have one, attach it, otherwise it can delay the process. What they are really looking for is your letter of acceptance and the proof of funds. I didn't have to do medicals, but it might be a country specific thing. You can check the actual processing time at cic website. Good luck!

The actual processing time is:

Study permit

India

4 week(s) Does not include transit time between the VAC and IRCC office.

Please I want to know the next step.I applied for a study permit to Canada in which I also included my medical exam.On Friday I received a message and when I check my account it said Medical exam Passed,What can I expect from the visa office next step?
