Hi All,

I went through the forum and I have not got a clear answer to my questions which I have asked here.

My wife is having a PR and is in Canada. She will be sponsoring me (I am in India), through Outland once my Medicals are ready as we do not want to wait till Sponsorship Approval comes. Hence, I need to know:
1) If there are any documents that I need to carry to the Medical center?
2) Should I tell them that it is for Family Sponsorship or PR?
3) Once medicals are done where should I ask them to send the report to? Mississauga or Ottawa or Alberta?
4) Will they give me a copy of the report?

Thanks in advance

Your passport.

It is for both. Your wife is sponsoring you for PR.

The doctor sends them to the medical center for your region. He or she should know which one. Clearly explain that your wife is a PR of Canada already, and is sponsoring you - because the doctors often mix up the different types of immigrants.
4) Will they give me a copy of the report?
The doctor should give you proof that you had the medical done. You have to include this form in your PR application, which you will send to Mississauga.

Thanks Canadianwoman, I got my Medicals done.

Other than passport the Medical Center also asked for Appendix C form.
