is there anyone here who has family member that has hepa B, is this an issue when applying for visa?

Thank you. My husband is the main applicant, under SINP but the agency sounded hesitant because I disclosed I have hepa B, though my last Hbv dna was undetected and I am under medication. They just said if we are willing to take the risk but might have not lodged our application because of this.

This isn’t a family sponsorship situation. You are applying for PR with your spouse so I would post under PNP. What do you mean about the consultant being hesitant? Are you paying for a job offer? You should not have to pay for a job offer. Unfortunately I know it happens but many agencies exploit workers and charge them an exorbitant fee that is extremely difficult to pay back. There are ways to come to Canada without paying a fee to an employer. You will not be able to work in certain field with a positive hep B. If you are actively being treated that is different situation than I was imagining. It will depend on your prognosis, treatment, etc. I would look into the cost of your current treatment in Canada.
