MEDICAL UPFRONT pros and cons???

Been waiting for my MR for 15 months now.. I'm wondering if doing medical upfront would actually help and speed up the process or should I wait? Any pros and cons?

I also want to do upfront medical for my husband open work permit. I hear from a friend that it saves time. can you show me to link to the form my husband need to take to the doctor office. he is base out Canada and I am inside.
