Hello everyone,
I would like to ask if its possible to get my PR without taking the medical test
I already gave my biometrics
"You do not need a medical test" is mentioned in my application status
Is it because i applied as family sponsorship or i will have to do it later on?

Hi,

Everyone is required to do the medical exam. It would appear your application hasn’t reached this stage yet. The medical exam result is valid for just 12 months so CIC will avoid ask for it too early.

No, not possible. You will be required to do the medical later on.

The last thing i did was giving biometrics on 15 april. Its been 6 months with no replies and no further processing steps.
I really need to know whats next

I hear ya. The whole process is a test of Petrie CW, isn’t it? . Have you tried calling IRCC to get an update? ‭If you’re in Canada, you can call 1 (888) 242-2100‬ and select 3-4-1-0 to speak to an agent
