Hello.

My medical will be expiring on the first day of march 2021 and I still haven't completed my Visa. If I happen to not able to go to Canada before that day, am I required to redo it again? Will I be starting from the beginning, waiting for months again? Or after redoing it, I can go anytime? Very confused. It was all delayed because of the pandemic, I hope they consider it and extend at least a month. :(

Thanks for those who can answer me.

Impossible to answer - not worth attempting to deal with it before you get PPR and COPR. In some cases they are automatically (effectively) extending validity of meds ie by issuing longer-dated COPR, in other cases short-dated and then will re-issue if requested, in some cases requesting new meds.

Right now it seems that they are mostly 'extending' meds (not requiring new) but insufficient info to say this is general policy (or possibly cases where they are not the new meds request is for different reasons, i.e. differences between files that are not obvious to outsiders).
