hi! we just had our medical exams last week. My child was diagnosed with a turner syndrome. Will this be a disqualification for our application for PR? please enlighten me..anyone who had had the same experience..has somebody with TS sucessfully entered Canada as Permanent Resident?

It's on you to prove that your childs TS will not cause excessive stress on Canada's health care so it depends on if the child has some other problems associated with TS. For example, if it turns out that your child is healthy and will not need any medical intervention, then you have a much greater chance than if it turns out that your child has other problems associated with TS requiring expensive surgeries in the future.

What did the doctor say you need to do? I find it most likely that you should see a specialist and get some extensive reports on what TS means in your childs case and then send that in and hope for the best.

we're still undegoing laboratory tests to rule out TS. We still have to go back to a specialist that requested a chromosome testing. Her result will be forwarded to the DMP. We still have to wait for a couple of weeks for the result...i'm keeping my crossed!!! thanks!
