Medical required student permit - HELP please

Hi to all,

I was at the embassy in buffalo and I applied for a study permit. After 3 hours of being there they called for my number and said that I need to do a medical examination and the doctor has to send them the results. Once they receive it they will contact me. Does this mean that if the medical examination is ok I will be approved or there might be more delay for some other reason. Anyone with the same experience?
Does anybody know how long does it take them to process that?

where are you applyin from? where is buffalo.. ??? and medical is the requirement.. if they have aasked u for medical it means that u have some chances.. check the processing time for your country in the official website for canada immigration..
