I applied to sponsor my daughter. My daughter is from previous relationship. She has a refugee status in France. I wanted my daughter to come to canada and her mother also agreeed. Since my daughter is under 18 years old, I got a notarized authorization letter from her mother. Her mother sent me all the required documents. The sponsorship is approved and a medical form request is sent to her mother. However, the mother of my daughter and my daughter didn’t get along each other. Her mom said unless my daughter apologizes to her, she is not going to give the medical form to my daughter. I talked to my daughter, but she does not want to apologize to her mother. she has her own reasons. The deadline to submit the medical result to the embassy is end of this month.
It is unlikely that both will make peace each other within three weeks. The only option I have now is to withdraw the application and re-apply when my daughter turns 18, she will be 18 soon. Do you have any other suggestions?
