It seems like quite a few people have got the Medical Request from their visa office, so I think it would be a good time to ask my questions about it:
1. First, what exactly happens in the Medicals? I understand that you have to go to some designated doctors. Can someone who has gone through the procedure (or who knows someone who did) describe it for me.
2. What do these doctors check for? E.g. Blood tests, Pee tests, X-Rays, etc. What else?
3. I seem to have dust allergy, though I don't take ongoing medication. Would this be a problem?
4. One guy (Srideep - Forum Handle) said he was given 60 days to do the Medicals. Does this 60 days include the time for the doctor/lab etc. to complete their tests and send the results to the CIC -OR- does it mean that you need to show up for the Medical within 60 days of the request (the time for preparing and sending the results is not counted)?
I'm sorry I am new to this, but I am curious how it works.
Thank you,
O. O.
