I am having high cholesterol problem with occasional high BP. Is it advisable to take medicine before going for medical exam. Or as it is?

I am not a medical professional but cannot see stoping taking medication just before an immigration medical is going to make the slightest difference as far as cholesterol or BP Also you should ensure that you declare any pre existing conditions anyway when asked either on any form or at the medical.

It is advisable to treat high cholesterol and high bp if your current doctor feels it is serious enough to treat. Also you should discuss changes in diet and increased exercise.

These will not be issues for the medical unless they are related to a more serious medical issue.
