Medimm,

According to http ://hepc.liverfoundation.org/diagnosis/can-hepatitis-c-be-cured/, the Hepatitis C virus is considered “cured” if the virus is not detected in your blood when measured with a blood test 3 months after treatment is completed. This is called a sustained virologic response (SVR) and data suggest that you will stay virus free indefinitely.

So I suggest you get "treated" and I am sure you will not have to worry about how it will affect your immigration plans after that. If you have to be put on medication, discuss with your doctor and opt for generics instead. This will help ensure that the costs of your medications are below the excessive demand threshold which is currently CAD 6500. I am sure it will go up just a bit.

There is no need to panic. You will be fine.
