Medical not needed for spouse?

I've got a question about medicals

We applied for my spouse (U.S citizen) and 1 dependant for PR (Outland) in Sept and just got confirmation of file being received, She received medical request for her Dependant but not herself.Is this normal? I don't want to make the appt for her sons medical and have it done and then find out she needs one too with the limited timeline allowed

any help would be appreciated

Your spouse definitely needs to complete a medical.
