I am sponsoring my partner and he has a non- accompanying dependent son that need to be examined too or medical. This is their second medical and the non- accompanying dependent son has been diagnosed of bipolar disorder but he is harmless. He goes to school like a normal young adult. He never harmed himself or others. My worries is will this affect my partner’s visa application? Are they gonna refused us because of this? The son is not even coming to canada at this moment. Hope someone can help me.

There may be a delay if IRCC requests further medical assessments for the dependent but the app will not be refused for this.
