I would like to study in Canada, however I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in 2019 and had no evidence of the disease in mid 2020. I am not on any medication. Will I be deemed medically inadmissible?

Impossible to say but there is a good chance you will be approved. Depends primarily on whether there is a very high chance of cancer returning in the next 5-10 years.

Unfortunately based on the type of cancer recurrence rates are usually higher. Are there any options for cancer survivors?

The only option is to go through the medical and hope you pass the medical. There are no exemptions to the medical.

None of us here can tell you what the outcomes of the medical will be. If you have a strong desire to study in Canada, then I would give it a go. You may be approved.

Good luck.
