Yes definitely. If they have any medical conditions that would be expected to cost approx $6,655 per year to Canada's healthcare/social services, they will be deemed ineligible due to excessive demand. If 1 parent fails the medical, then app will be rejected for both parents and dependents.

Thanks for your replies. My dad had a stroke a few years ago, some issues with kidney and lung and the doctor recommends 24/7 care . He is still capable of most basic needs .Do you think IRRC would still deny him PR .I have no other dependent. Thanks .
