Hey guys my partner and I are planning on making the move to Canada. Just had doubts regarding the medical inadmissability as I have ulcerative colitis (past 12 years) and ankylosing spondylitis (past 5 years). I'm currently only on tablets i.e. mesalamine 800mg x3and sulfasalazine 500mgx2. Wanted to if anyone with both these conditions have got PR or are my chances not too good.

Hey,

Everyone's condition is unique, can't really say untill they look into your medicals ...
I am currently waiting for my Approval, I had applied on 17th Sept 2018 and still my medicals are under review as I have chrons and taking Humeira every 2 weeks.
So my suggestion is go ahead and apply and if it comes up to a stage where you get a PFL you can hire a immigration lawyer who has expertise in Medical inadmissible issues.

Hi
Thanks for the quick response. What medicals would I need to take since I haven't had any tests done for the past 4 years. So their pretty old. As I haven't had any real issues. Except slight stiffness due to the As.

The panel physician will conduct few tests, you need not worry about anything .. if required further then they might ask for additional tests.

Thanks for the informative response. I will do the medicals as and when required and see how it goes.
