It depends upon the prognosis and course of the disease.

You should familiarize yourself with the IMEI brochure on hepatitis: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Hepatitis.pdf

The Panel Physician will obtain information from you about your condition, including blood work and any documentary information you have from the infectious disease doctor treating your hepatitis.

CIC cares about three things: (1) if you are a threat to public safety; (2) if you are a threat to public health; and (3) if you might reasonably create excessive demand on the social and/or health services of Canada.

It would not seem that hepatitis is (1) or (2). (3) would depend upon the treatment required - if any.
