Medical for a child?

I am applying to sponsor my husband and one-year-old daughter. Does my daughter also need to have the medical check done?

Assuming you are a Canadian citizen and your daughter is your biological child, then no. She is not being sponsored for status in Canada - she is already a Canadian citizen, unless you are second generation and she was born outside of Canada.

I am actually British but have Canadian citizenship through my Mother. We currently live in the UK which is where my daughter was born.

OK, so if you were not born in Canada, you are considered second generation and your daughter does have to be sponsored. Sorry. So she will need to be sponsored and has to undergo medical examination, yes.
