i applied for pnp and it will be one year since i did my medical in November.
So, am i suppose to do it again or will they tell me something before that?

I think its better to email them and ask them

Well last time i emailed it said;

Please do not contact us unless there is a change of address or change in your family composition.

So, i'm not sure if anyone what to do and would help to know what other people did.

Hi Julie,

Usually they issue PPR before the medical expires, or alteast they will do something with our files before the date of expiration. I am in the situation as you, did medicals in Nov 2011. All the best to you :)

I emailed them 2 weeks ago, still waiting for a reply... All I can do is wait...

The visa office may extend your medicals by an additional year within 15 months of your original medical examination date. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob423.asp

Note that it is the VISA OFFICE that requests this extension - there is nothing you can do about it. If the visa office requires updated medicals, they will advise you. You can choose at that point to have them done again, to withdraw your application, or to fail to respond in which case they will terminate your application.

Good luck!
