hi guys...on cic...in family clas sponsorship...in medical exam...is there any exceptions made for ..well example for conjugal partner category....if you do medical exam and doctors find that you have HIV...../god forbid/......and for other clases thats end you can't go in canada and you cant get visa issued..and what's for conjugal category..or common-law....is there any exceptions.....or something.

I believe there are no exemptions for the medical....

i know that you must do medical but i mean with results....if anyone have like some trubles....hiv...or something else....personaly i'm ok but just for the info....i think that i read somewhere that family class-conjugal category is ...well like you can still get your visa if you have medical related problems ..because you are in that class.....so i don't know is that true.

it depends on your illness/medical problems......

For a spouse or common-law/conjugal partner, they will not be denied for medical reasons. They are 'medically-demand' exempt. Other classes of immigrants will be denied for medical reasons, including some quite minor things.
I personally know people who have gotten their PR visa even though they were HIV positive.

Just want to clarify--spouses and common-law/conjugal partners are "excessive demand" exempt, but can still be denied for medical reasons if they have a condition that would make them a danger to public health or safety.
