hey guys! If anyone can help me out cause I’m really panicking over this. I did my medicals and everything was clear however I have a past medical record of depression which I disclosed to the examiner who then told me that due to what I disclosed she’ll have to flag my application and grade it B. This period was around 2 years ago would this be a reason for them to reject my student visa??

Note that the final decision with the medicals is with the visa officer and not the examiner. I don't think the medical examiner was right in telling you that you will be "graded lower", as you aren't supposed to be privy to that, and this will encourage people not to disclose the same.

If you are disclosing something, explain everything and ensure that they record it so that the visa officer has access to it. I personally don't think depression is going to get you rejected for a visa. As far as I know the medical examiner should not be grading the medical exam as ultimately the visa officer makes the call.

If you do get rejected for prior medical history, they will give you a procedural fairness letter. What this means is that you will be given another chance if you feel that you were rejected unfairly. You can show any proof that would convince them that you will not be a burden to the Canadian health care system and that you will be able to study in Canada with no problem.
