Hi,
I am currently applying for a study permit. I submitted my application on July 11th, and it has been about 2 weeks but the office haven't even started to review my eligibility. Is it normal?
Also, I haven't received the request for medical exam. I am pretty sure that I have to take the medical exam for that I will stay in Canada for more than 6 months. And here is where things get complicated because I have to travel for personal reasons latelt so I hope to complete the examination ASAP.
I am wondering if it's OK to take the medical exam prior to receiving the request of IME?

Thanks in advance,

yes, it is ok to do an upfront medical exam. check which panel physician is authorized in your country and tell them you are doing an upfront medical.
