Hi, My family is in Canada (common law husband and children). I applied for temp visa which was not appropriate and was advised by the embassy to pay for temp permit to visit with my family ( I last saw them 9 mths ago). The PR process is on going meanwhile and I was sent the medical form for exam to be taken and sent back. I have submitted the form, copy of pp. The website tells me I can go for the appointment with an ID. My passport (PP) is currently with the high commission. The website says I can do medical with ID, the IOM medical office, nairobi are inisting I go with my passport.
My question is if I request for my passport for this procedure will it hinder my the progress made thus far and bring me back to the back of the line and why is the IOM insisting I take my PP when the CIC website clearly says I can do the medical exam with a copy of my passport, medical form and current ID
