Medical Exam. How "new" should it be?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what's the expiry date of Medical Exam? We plan to apply in November, but were thinking to start getting papers now. We live in a country where normally everything takes longer, so what if some results will be ready next month, but others 4 months later?

Has anyone come accross any difficulties when their exams were old (6-12 months, for example)

Your medical exam date is ideally as close to the date of your application submission as possible, since
1) medical results are only valid for one year
2) since CIC may take 6 months or longer to approve a PR application.
3) After the approval, you need to finish landing before your medial expires.
