I was going through the medical exam guidelines and as per the permanent resident application, this is written on the top of the page:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

Medical exam for permanent residents
If you apply for permanent residence, you must have an immigration medical exam. Your family members must also have a medical exam, even if they are not coming with you.

I assume that Express Entry applicants are permanent resident applicants. So does it mean all EE applicants must also have their family members (Spouse/Kids) medical exam done and attached even if they are not coming along?

I also assume Single/Un-Married applicants have no such condition and parents/siblings don't come under this rule.
Please confirm.

Although it may sound silly but I want to confirm on my doubt.
Since I am unmarried (and no children), I don't need to get my parents medical done as part of my PR application?
I need to get just my medical done and that's it..right?

It may sound obvious but still I want to confirm from my experts.
Kindly guide!
