Medical exam doctor not answering phone?

Hey everyone,

My sister in law is applying for a study permit (currently in Canada as a visitor) and we’re stuck. We have a panel physician in town and we’ve tried calling their office for 2 weeks and left messages and haven’t received a response. Is it possible to send study permit application away before receiving medical exam? We may have to travel to another city but my husband and I work and can’t just take time off suddenly to go bring her for appt (we can do it but it’ll possibly be a few weeks before we can). We’re just stressed because the cutoff for permit was almost 1 month ago and we’re already racing the clock. Any advice would be great! Thanks

Yes you can submit her application and either wait for the medical request from IRCC or do an upfront medicals when you can and send the e-medical info sheet via webform.
