Medical condition on open work permit- applicable for veterinarians?

Hello,

I am a veterinarian. Is that considered as a healthcare field job?

Do I need to pass the medical and have the condition removed from my OWP?

Furthermore, is the medical exam the same as for PR in this case ie a chronic, non infectious disease could be a problem or do they just screen for transmissible diseases?

I am the spouse of a foreign worker, not currently in Canada but want to be sure I can work there before coming!
Where can I get some information about that topic? Who to ask?

Medical is same for PR. Since you are a Vet and licensed in the province to work in the field then get the medical to work in the healthcare field. Working with people too.
