Hi
Please help.

We are USA citizen and Green card Holder in Canada. We have been working in Toronto since 4 years back. We are palnning to adopt my niece who is 10 years old with hemophilia (genetic blood disorder). Will it it be a problem for her immigration process? We want to sacrifice for my niece so decided not to have for our own. She has no other sickness so far. My husband income is $ 70,000 and mine $ 55,00 a year. We have no other relatives in Canada.
Thanks
tos

Don't think it would be a problem. The excessive use criteria is waived for dependents. Her condition isn't contagious and wouldn't endanger those around her. So it sounds ok.
