The answer is NO...I have seen very recently one post here. The doctor refused to do the chest X-ray for a pregnant lady.

It can be done with a protective shield, but the woman has to decide that for herself. Personally, I wouldn't take such a risk.

thats what I thought as well.

CIC stance is clear on this. If the parents allow, then it can be done with protective shield. Choice is with applicant at own risk

I got medical when I was pregnant. Doctor did all tests except chest X- ray. I done chest X-ray after my baby born. I did lots of research too. I think it is wise to take X-ray after delivery.

did that delay your case? I mean after sending the x-ray how much time it took to get PPR

I think only you need to add him to the dependants list. forgot the form number.

How many weeks did you wait to take X-Ray after you gave a birth?

Hi Suduko and denny8806,

You can take chest x- ray anytime after your baby born. My baby born in end of december. I took X-ray in first week of January. They waited for my X- ray report. I got PPR on July 31st. It is time frame as others.It didn't delay my process.let me know if u have any questions.
