hi there

iam preparing to file outland while im in Canada right now

I was wondering if I should do medical and criminal upfront . I have one from my home country tho

or should I wait till told to ?

what do they do on medical exam

Both documents are on the checklist, so they are generally considered to be mandatory. There are some countries that require an official letter to get a police check, so those can be done later. Check the CIC site to see the instructions for your country and any countries you have lived in for 6 months or more.

If you are applying outland, you are supposed to send in proof of the medical and the police checks with the application. Check your country guide, since there are a few countries where this differs.

You do not need a criminal check from Canada. If you got the medical done by a panel physician in your home country, you can use this, as long as it is not too old.
