I am very new to the Canadian Immigration process and I'm trying to decide on whether to apply to be nominated by a province or as a skilled worker. Her's my profile.

1 - Mechanical Engineering Degree - US Institution. Currently working on my MBA

2 - Age, 30

3 - 4+ years of continuous experience as an Engineer with well known Mining & Construction firm.

Any pointers on the best route (province nomination or skilled worker ?) will be helpful.

Thanks

To apply through the Federal Skilled Worker program your occupation must appear on the following list:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

OR you must have a job offer in Canada.

This may help you to decide if FSW is going to work for you.
