Following is my profile ... I just got an admit from an esteemeed canadian college for MBA. Following is a short run down of my profile:
I am a male from India , an engineer, cancer survivor, eventually shifted to India’s largest bank SBI(world rank 35 , a fortune 500 fully government company). GPA in undergrad is 3.0 . I have work ex of 6 years as a credit analyst, handling portfolio to the tune of 400-500 Crores of Indian Rupees. I am cofounder at 2 tech/fin tech start ups. State level cricket. State level Basketball (coached and captained). 3 years with a registered NGO. . My goal is to improve on my financial knowledge and get into investment banking/financial analyst and easily get a job in Canada and just settle down .
Recently, I came to know of this platform and of the fact that even after MBA getting a Finance related Job is very very difficult and requires a lot more certifications, even if one has indian accrediations and certificates. What are the chances of landing up into a hardcore finance related high paying job ? If the situation is plightful, I will rather move to UK or US , but the only reason i chose Canada was for PR . However, it does not make sense to move to a country with such high unemployment rates and low salaries. Your two cents are highly appreciated. Also , for MBA I'm taking loans of Rs 50 lakhs, so ROI has to make sense too .
