MBA of UK recognition in Canada

Hello everyone,

I am persuing MBA in UK (accredited by AMBA and CMI) and wish to know if this MBA is recognised in Canada or can help me get equivalent CMA designation or it will be considered by Canadian employers for the Finance/Accountancy jobs.

Any suggestions or advices are welcome!

MBA if recognized by the right authority in the home country will be recognized for points by CIC.

MBA - for employment recognition, this depends on the university, etc. For example, if it is from LBS, trust me, you will have no problem.

many thanks for the reply. I got my points and CHC, ND has also made decision on my application and would soon receive the PP with visa.

I am doing MBA from RGU (robert gordon university, aberdeen) whose MBA is accredited by AMBA (association of MBAs) and CMI (chartered management institute of UK).

please advice if there should not be any problem or who can I contact in canada to get this recognised, so i can prepare accordingly. I have total of 10 years of experience as finance manager.
