may 27th application sent to CIC Buffalo, no medical request yet :(

I filed my NSNP approval and federal application on May 27th to Buffalo NY. One of my buddy filed on May 24th and he got his medical request on Aug 20th. I haven't got my medical request yet is this within normal time or should I be worried that something is wrong? does the location within province matter for faster processing?

processing times are different for each case i believe, and sometimes it also depends on the visa officer that your file got assigned to. for our family, we submitted our application to Buffalo March 4 or 5, 2010 and medical request was issued June 23, 2010 (we received the docs by snail mail July 5).
