Hi Everyone;

And great job on all the posts and invaluable tips!

I am a female in her mid-thirties (wife and mother) considering a Masters degree in Business Admin from Univ of Saskatchewan.

I have an IELTS score of 8.0; a bachelor of Arts degree in English Language (second class upper division), a MSc in Global Human resource management from University of Liverpool. I have about 8 years work experience as a HR Manager in an investment bank in Lagos, Nigeria.

I am looking to increase my chances of earning a senior management position in a multinational company in Nigeria and i feel an MBA will increase my chances a bit.

I am not sure if the Canadian embassy awards student visas to people above the age of 35...

Advice and suggestions please.

Sure - you can get a visa at almost any age.

If you are planning on coming to Canada on your own (leaving your child and husband behind at home), then I think you have a pretty good chance of being approved for a study visa.
