Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the pay stubs from the employer and tax filling for the same.
So, I was about to file my tax for year 2017 and I saw in the CRA my login that location of employment is written Manitoba rather than Ontario. This is due the reason that payroll company that is paying the monthly pay is located in Manitoba rather than in Ontario, But my location of office is in Toronto downtown.
I had a word with the payroll company and they would be changing that from MB to ON by filling and amendment to CRA.
I know that the eligibility to file OINP under Masters graduate scheme is that our employer should be of Ontario only. In my case, I received my OINP in 2017 August and I filled my paper based PR just a after that. So just want a clarification that will the case explained above will affect my PR file under process, or the location only matters till the point we have received our PNP.
Any kind of feedback would be beneficial.
Thanks,
Inder
