Marrying to a PR while CEC application is underway

I submitted my CEC application last year and I got my file number (application number) already, but no medical exam yet.

Now I'm planning to get married and she is already a PR. I know I have to notify CIC of the marriage, but what documents do I need to submit in my case (considering that she is already a PR so I probably won't need to add her to my application)?

Why don't you just hold off your marriage till you get your permanent residency? Shouldn't be to long.
