Hi,
I am Dominican and got married in the US last year and my husband is a Canadian permanent resident. I'm still in the US under a J1 visa which expired in August. I've been to Canada before under a visitor's visa but that already expired. My husband and I want to know if I can apply to a visitor's visa again and go there together ( he is currently here visiting me) and he can petition me once we are in Canada.
If that is possible, should I do it from here the US or go back to my country and do it from there?
