Married Student in Canada - Need to apply for Spouse

Help needed.

I came this month in Canada as a Student for a 1 year course. I want to call my husband here. He is working as a Cricket coach in India and has 6-7 years of working experience of India.
Firstly, I want to know that which visa should I apply for him? (I am not sure if I would apply for HIS visa in Canada OR he should apply it himself from India) Should it be Open Work Permit or Spouse Visa? and how long it would take to be processed?
And Secondly, If I have enough points (right now) to apply for PR, can I apply for Canada PR while I am studying here? If not, when can I apply for the same at the earliest?

Applying for PR depends on which route you would take, PNP, EE etc.
