I’m about to apply to EE with my spouse and I have a question.
We are both Brazilians, but we got married in the US. We have the original American marriage certificate, the American apostile and also a recognized transcript of the certificate that makes our status as legally married here in Brazil too.
My questions:
1. Will that be a problem?
2. When necessary to show proof that we are legally married, should I upload the American marriage certificate, the Brazilian equivalent or both? Since the American (and original) certificate is already in English, I thought it would be easier, but not sure.
P.S.: our Brazilian transcript is just a recognition that our country accepted the American certificate. We didn’t get married twice.
