Married at time of spousal application but divorced before coming to canada Help

Hello All,

I have a close friend who is in the following situation:

She married a Canadian citizen and they were legally married in their home country. She has received her Visa to come to Canada soon and she plans on coming. However, just a week ago, the man basically left her and perhaps has another women on the side (that neither his family nor her family knew about). She is wondering what will happen / likely consequences be if she came to canada by herself? Should she notify the authorities that the relationship between her and the husband is basically over prior to coming to Canada or after?

Her husband should have withdrawn the sponsorship and COPR should get cancelled. She only qualified for PR if she was joining her husband.

If the husband doesn't withdraw and she enters canada, could she stay afterwards?

If she is now separated from her husband no she isn’t entitled to PR. Can’t guarantee what will happen if she lands.
